wedding halls CTNo matter if you’re planning your special day close to home or are planning a destination-style event to enjoy the beautiful foliage the state has to offer, wedding halls in Connecticut can be found in practically all regions, from the center to the Shoreline. What are some of the possibilities?

Madison, Connecticut is a beautiful town filled with wonderful restaurants, Shoreline hotels, and lovely beaches; it is an ideal place for corporate outings, banquets or golf outings. Located only a short drive from the heart of Manhattan and ideally situated close to Long Island Sound, Madison offers a number of options in terms of corporate outings and social gatherings and even beach and seasonal weddings.

Further up Interstate 95 is the lovely Shoreline region, which has halls and other places for holding a Connecticut wedding. Towns like Clinton, Old Saybrook, Essex, Old Lyme, Mystic, and Ledyard are perfect places to hold weddings, receptions, baby showers, corporate events, family reunions, golf outings, and numerous other social events. Each of these towns has several hotels with numerous banquet facilities of all shapes, sizes, and prices. The town of Madison has a newly renovated hotel that is only a few steps from Long Island Sound as well as several much smaller inns. Old Lyme, Essex, and Mystic are also renowned for their hotels, restaurants, and close proximity to Long Island Sound.   In the town of Ledyard, there are two large and incredibly popular casinos; in each of these venues there are world class dining possibilities, top of the line golf courses, all kinds of gaming options, and hi-tech banquet rooms.

Greenwich, New Haven, Hartford, Old Saybrook, and Essex are all stops along the Metro-North Railways. Metro-North has daily trains from Manhattan, Boston and Springfield into these major towns in Connecticut. Furthermore, the state of Connecticut is served by the centrally located and convenient Bradley International Airport. Interstate 91 and Interstate 95 have both had lanes added onto them and thus one can travel throughout the state of Connecticut with much greater ease than before, especially during the summer months.

At the very tip of Connecticut is the venerable town of Noank.  Wildly popular during the summer months, this once sleepy town on the edge of Long Island Sound has a number of quirky hotels, restaurants, and clam shacks which symbolize the long-held New England tradition of fine hospitality. Noank is a short drive from the casinos and is also home to several world famous seafood restaurants.
